We received a beautiful card from a young lady who attends our centre and her mam has given me permission to share with all of you. Muireann calls our centre “The Lordship Spa” as this is the place she goes for her retreat from the rest of the world.
Here’s what Muireann thinks of our centre: “My name is Muireann and I’m 17 years old and have lots of sensory issues, I am a very bubbly girl who likes to stay in my routine and the centre is ideal for my needs as the staff are good listeners and very kind. I love my colourful bedroom especially my double bed in it. They also have magical taps which turn on if you wave your hand in front of them. My favourite thing to do in the Spa is to relax in a big bubble bath while I stay there. I feel sad when I leave the spa to go home but my mammy always tells me that I will go back to the spa soon which makes me very happy”.
To Muireann, thank you so much for your card, it really means so much for us to know you enjoy your stay at our centre and for your family to have peace of mind that you are in good hands and they can enjoy their well-deserved break xx
